Depending on your theme, you can add menu options with custom links in the main navigation of your eCom store. This can be useful if you want to link customers to other places in your eCom store. While it is also possible to link your customers to other websites, it is recommended that you only link to pages within your own eCom store to maintain your eCom store's conversion.

To add menu options with custom links:
In the left menu of the back office, go to Design >Navigation.
Click Default under the Title column.
Click Add link.
Type the title of the menu option in the field labeled Link Title.
Select an option from the drop-down menu labeled Link to:
Home- Will link to your eCom store home page. This is useful if you want to add a custom homepage link in your navigation.
Brand - By clicking Brand you can search and select a brand from your eCom store. This is useful when you want to connect customers directly to a key brand in your eCom store.
Category - By clicking on Category you can directly link to another category page. This is useful when you want to add custom text in your menu that links to a category with a different title. Otherwise it is recommended to just create a visible category. For more information about categories click here.
Product - By clicking on Product you can search and select a product from your eCom store. This is useful when you want to link customers directly to an important product in your eCom store's inventory.
Page - By clicking Page you can search and select a page in your eCom store. This is useful when you want to prominently display an important page such as the return policy in your main navigation in a prominent place.
URL - By clicking URL you can enter a web address of any website as the destination. Copy the target web address including https:// and paste it into the URL field. This is useful if you have more than one website and you want your customers to have easy access to it.
Loyalty - By clicking on Loyalty you can directly open the loyalty page. This is useful if you want customers to have new information about your loyalty program. Click here for more information about loyalty.
If desired, activate the check box labeled Open link in new window. This will open a new tab or window instead of using the same tab or window that displays your eCom store. Checking this box is recommended when linking your customers to another website.
Click Save.
Click Back to Home in the left menu.
Click View Store Store to test if your link appeared in the header. If it's still not visible, check your footer. Your theme may be designed to display a new link in your footer. If your link is in the footer, you may need to adjust your store's design settings. Click here for more information.
Add new menus
The option in the left menu of the Back Office > Design > Navigation > New menu is mainly used by Lightspeed's partners and requires in-depth knowledge of HTML and CSS. If you decide to use this option, please note that Lightspeed cannot provide technical support for this.
