When you download and open your CSV, all information should be broken down into easy-to-read columns. If all of your data is unreadable and most of it appears in the first column, you may have set the wrong text delimiter in your eCom Back Office. The required text delimiter depends on your geographic location and your spreadsheet software.

Change your text delimiter by following these instructions: This setting restores all exports, including products, customers, orders, etc.

  1. In the left menu of the back office, go to Settings.

  2. Under the column SHOP SETTINGS , click on Workflow.

  3. Scroll to the section BACKOFFICE and change your text delimiter by selecting it from the dropdown menu CSV delimiter. Exports made with the semicolon delimiter [ ; ], for example, caused a broken export, so select the comma delimiter [ , ] instead.

  4. Click on Save.

Vergelijkt een kapotte CSV met een goede.
