Introduction Lightspeed Payments

There are two types of Lightspeed Payments. This article refers to the Lightspeed Payments available in Europe. Click here for information about Lightspeed Payments in the United States.

Lightspeed Payments is a collaboration between Mollie and Lightspeed. By working with a large group, all customers can enjoy economies of scale that were previously only achievable for large companies.

Within Lightspeed Payments you can offer the following payment methods:

  • iDEAL

  • paypal

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express)

  • Overbooking

  • Bancontact / Mister Cash

  • SOFORT Banking

  • Belfius

  • KBC

  • Giropay

  • gift card

  • EPS

  • Carte Bancaire

  • ING Home'Pay

  • Klarna: Pay Later

You can also offer gift cards. These gift cards will only work in your eCom shop if it is established in the Netherlands. They are not compatible with your Lightspeed Retail POS system.

  • National Cinema Voucher

  • National Entertainment Card

  • National Art & Culture Gift Card

  • Podium Gift Card

  • Tourist Office Gift Card

  • Webshop Gift card

  • YourGift

If you are satisfied with your current payment provider or your preferred payment methods are not offered by Lightspeed Payments, you can simply use your current payment provider. Nothing else will change for you then.

Fixed costs per month

The fixed costs per month are €5.

Lightspeed Set up payments

You can activate Lightspeed Payments if you already have a Mollie account, or you can create a new account.
