After processing an order, you may receive a tracking code from the shipping company. By entering this number into Lightspeed eCom, the option to send the tracking code to your customer can be used. Some integrated shipping companies will enter the tracking code automatically.
You must edit an existing shipment to add a tracking code. You can edit a shipment in two different ways.
Add a tracking code from an order
After creating a shipment from an order, the shipment can be edited and the tracking code entered.
In the Lightspeed eCom Back Office, click Orders.
Select the order linked to the shipment by clicking on the Order number.
In the Shipments section, click the shipment number.
Enter the tracking code.
Add a tracking code from shipments
In Lightspeed eCom you can view all your shipments in one place. Here you can select a shipment and enter the tracking code.
In the Lightspeed eCom Back Office, click Orders.
In the sidebar on the left side of the screen, click on Shipments.
Select the shipment associated with the order by clicking the shipment number.
Enter the tracking code.
