Offering a flat rate for shipping is all about calculating a flat rate to split the shipping costs between the customer and your business. Since only one shipping method is required and no changes are required to your products, it is very easy to set up.
Request information so that you can set a fair price for your flat shipping rate. Base your decision on factors such as shipping costs, competition, customer preference, average order size, etc. so that it is cost-effective for both your business and your customers. You can also choose to implement free shipping above a certain amount in the checkout.
For example, to offer a fixed amount, one shipping method is created with the following settings:
Name: Flat rate
Description: UPS usually delivers within 2-5 business days.
Weight class and rate:
โFrom 0 - 500 kg, USD 6.50
Country: United States
