Early birds, you have those too! Make pre-orders available on your webshop to please these early birds! 🕊️

Hey there, you look new! Too new, because you haven't come out yet. 🥚 What could be a nicer way to offer your customers a pre-order function ? The "add to cart" button would be replaced by a "pre-order" button. You can already sell before the product is in stock or on the market. Useful for new collections or "soon to release" products . This way you can already start selling and delivering on the release date! 📆

​Installation 🛠️

To install this add-on, an implementation from a developer is required . So it may take a while before the add-on is active. Simply click on "Request Add-on " and let Plus+ notify our development heroes. 👨‍⚕️

After clicking " Request Add-on ", you would be redirected to the " My Plus+ Add-ons " page. You will also see the following notification will appear in the top right corner of the dashboard.

​Add-on settings/overview ⚙️
​

After installation you will see that the add-on is in your overview , including installation date and status.
​With this add-on the status would first be "Pending "This is because the developers should first add the code to your webshop. As soon as the developers are working on this you should see the status change to "Pending".
​

If the developers have added the code, this status will be set to "inactive" , so you can set it up properly and then activate it! ✅
​

To activate the add-on, click on the hamburger menu and choose "activate". Prefer to see a preview in test mode first ? Which can. Click " Activate in preview mode" and the add-on would be visible only to you. So not for the customers !

Of course, this add-on also has settings . Since you activate pre-orders, labels are of course included. In this way, the customer can see more quickly in the product overview that this concerns a pre-order .
​What color can this label and the pre-order button have? Which text color should be used in the label & button ? And how much white space is allowed between the delivery time texts ?
Adjust the settings here to your liking! 🔧

Preparing products for Pre-order 🔧

Set the pre-order delivery time under 'Settings -> Shop settings -> Delivery times' . Fill in the data under 'Notification when product is out of stock' in the following format: Pre-order - datumThe date is optional and is only shown if the word ' pre-order ' is followed by a dash and a text.

Within this add-on word using translation keys, this allows you the text of the add-on to customize your own text. You can do this with custom translations .
